Videocast: World Series Implications

Our first videocast has been structured to look at the Yanks and the Phillies.
Cano, Hideki, and Rivera are a few that we touch on for the Champions. Hamels, Utley, and Howard had very different numbers and need to be looked at for different reasons.

Welcome Fantasy Fanatics

The first post is most likely the one that is suppose to set the tone for the entire blog. With any luck we can get you back after this one.

We, the bloggers and broadcasters, of The Fantasy Impact (TFI) wanted to introduce ourselves and our leagues to the world.

Welcome.

Though the three of us play in numerous leagues without the others, we do play in two leagues that have come to spawn much controversy and argument. So, we are taking to the airwaves.

Leagues:
The Balls.
A twelve team league, snake draft, head-to-head, with ERA as a tie breaker.
Daily League.
Pitching: Stikeouts, ERA, WHIP, Wins, and Saves.
Offense: Hits, Home Runs, Stolen Bases, RBIs, and Average.
Three year old league.
2007 Champion: Jimbo Grey
2008 Champion: Kyle McMurphy
2009 Champion: Jon Quade

I Keeper Chained in the Basement.
A ten man league, auction draft, keeper league, head-to-head, with ERA as the tie breaker.
Pitching: Stikeouts, ERA, WHIP, Wins, and Saves.
Offense: Hits, Home Runs, Stolen Bases, RBIs, and Average.
2009 Season was a weekly locked league and will be shifting to a daily league 2010.
2009 Champion: Todd McMurphy

Although our focus is going to be on the two leagues above, we will be introducing teams and managers from each league throughout the blog and videocasts. Our hope is to create a league over the following months, prior to the 2010 season filled with TFI follwers. Feel free to contact us about the future league and explain why you should be part of the league. The managers in this league willl be asked to come be part of the TFI video and pod casts.

Until Next Time...
